It is not possible nor is it appropriate for a private citizen to make that judgement. Only a uniformed officer can approach an individual and require them to show that a plate, placard or sticker they are using belongs to them. With Parking Mobility you can report a vehicle parked illegally, not an individual.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hmm. We don't force a violation type. The App defaults to parked with no plate or placard if you don't select a type. Try doing a test report, just put TEST in the license plate. you can email directly to support@parkingmobility.com if you continue having issues and we'll get a tech to you.

An error occurred while saving the comment In the App, go gto the menu, choose 'Status' then click on any of your reports. You will see thumbnail details, including comments. For greater detail, go to parkingmobility.com/login on a desktop or lap top. Once logged in, you can see full details of all reports, including comments made by anyone handling that record. These will be in the History at the bottom of the record.

An error occurred while saving the comment There is no status of 'Government Involvement'. Reports in 'Government Engagement' status are actually the most important report status. They are the reports being used as part of the data we are gathering to prove the extent of accessible parking abuse and the need for our full enforcement and education program to your community's leaders. Without your reports your community won’t do anything about accessible parking abuse and the problem will never be solved.
As we have several partner communities and statuses are set by community, it is not feasible to list all of the statuses that reports could be in. The email that is sent to the reporting volunteer after every report explains exactly what is being done with that report and indicates if the report is submitted in a partner community or if it is more importantly a report we are using to get your community on board.

An error occurred while saving the comment Each individual violation can be reported but a vehicle parked in the same location should only be reported once in a 24 hour period.
Yes, all data necessary for a report is collected.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lisa,
We completely understand your frustration. In fact, its exactly why we developed the Parking Mobility program and encourage you stay with the movement. If you want your community to do something about the problem, you have to be willing to get and stay involved. Feel free to contact me at mack@parkingmobility.com if you'd like more information on how we can help. -

An error occurred while saving the comment We are unable to accept photo uploads, emails or camera roll pictures not taken within the Parking Mobility App because when taking the photos in the App we are also collecting all data necessary for a report. We also ensure photos cannot be altered, thus preserving the chain of evidence, a requirement of our law enforcement and judicial partners. Without this security measure, the evidence collected would not be admissible in court. Also, if the photos we collected resided on your phone or other device at any point and not originally on our servers, a defense attorney could subpoena your device and hold it for inspection in the event of a trial. Since the only photos we accept reside on our servers, they can subpoena them…we have many.
We strongly suggest taking the required photos within the App, then moving away from the violation to complete the report.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jennifer,
The difference is that photos that are not secured are not admissible in court. If you take a photo with your phone (or any other device) and then upload it to our servers, that photo cannot be verified as secured and violates the chain of evidence and the case could not be prosecuted. Accepting even one unsecured photo in our system makes the entire system null in the eyes of a court. This would in no way change the scenario you described. If you feel a confrontation is likely, we never suggest reporting.
Kathy,
Exactly. Thanks.
