An error occurred while saving the comment Ashleigh,
We cannot accept photos not taken through the Parking Mobility App. We do not accept uploads. This is to ensure photos have not been altered or tampered and to protect the chain of evidence. This is a requirement of our law enforcement and judicial partners. It takes no longer to take the required photos with the Parking Mobility App than with your phone's onboard camera app...it just take a little practice. An error occurred while saving the comment As we have explained, photos taken security through the App are the only way to achieve the requirements of our law enforcement partners.
Leonard, the latest update should allow you to reopen the photos you have taken. If it is not working correctly, please contact me directly so we can get a tech working on the issue.
Thanks,
Mack Marsh

An error occurred while saving the comment There are several ways that a violation can be reported with only two photos required and and reports may be submitted with only two as long as all required elements are present, ie. front windshield showing no placard, license plate and vehicle showing full infraction. Keep in mind that different countries and different states have different laws regarding plates and placards and three photos are often required.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sue, please see my response below as to why we cannot accept photos not taken within the Parking Mobility App.
An error occurred while saving the comment We only allow photos that are taken from within the Parking Mobility App. This is a requirement of our law enforcement and judicial partners as we collect all other data necessary for a report while you take the photos. We also ensure photos cannot be altered and preserve the chain of evidence. We try to measure the ease of use for our volunteers with the requirements of all other community partners and feel the Parking Mobility App best meets all needs and requirements.

An error occurred while saving the comment Many disabilities are not apparent. If a vehicle displays appropriate license plate or placard, it is not reportable. We do not condone approaching a suspected violator ever. Confrontation never ends positively. If you are approached while reporting, simply state that you are part of the Parking Mobility program and you are reporting a violation of law in a public space.

An error occurred while saving the comment Please make sure you have your location services turned on and enabled for Parking Mobility. If you do, you may be in an area that has a weak signal from your carrier. This is not an issue others have reported.

An error occurred while saving the comment Michael, often police officers use that excuse. The truth is that in most states police officers certainly can and should write citations for accessible parking violations anywhere the violation occurs...even on private property. Its true that in some states officers cannot write general parking tickets without the request of the property owner or manager but accessible parking is prescribed by most state laws to be enforced anywhere.

An error occurred while saving the comment We are working to add that feature in Android. It exists in iOS. Thanks.
An error occurred while saving the comment @Michael, Parking Mobility specifically addresses accessible parking only and everything in our messaging indicates such.
An error occurred while saving the comment @Michael, I'm not sure what you're talking about. I replied to this thread in March '14. There are some comments that relate to specific account issues that we answer directly to the user.
An error occurred while saving the comment Lee,
Our goal is to issue citations from the violations our users report. In fact, we are issuing citations in some communities and are actively negotiating with others to deploy Parking Mobility as a solution. Unfortunately not every community understands the problem of accessible parking abuse. The data you and other users submit is key to demonstrating the scope of the problem and how Parking Mobility can help address it. I understand your frustration in wanting to issue a ticket to offenders. Keep submitting reports and it will become a reality in your community sooner.
Thanks Renee. because we have limited screen space and try to keep things as 'uncluttered' as possible, we can't really put a legend in the mobile App. If you log into your account online (www.parkingmobility.com/login) you can see way more detail of each report including status details.
