What should you do if you get caught?
What happens if you get caught while in the middle of taking photos of the vehicle that's parked in a disabled parking bay without a permit sighted anywhere in the vehicle and you get caught by the owner of the vehicle or by a security guard who sees you taking photos of cars.
Because I got questioned by a security guard at a local shopping centre recently when he saw me taking photos of a car that didn't have a permit on display.

tell them to mind their own business and that you're allowed to take pics of whatever you want in public!

First, we never suggest reporting if you feel a confrontation may occur. If asked what're doing, simply state that you are collecting data on accessible parking. If a property owner, manager or their agents tell you that you cannot do so on their property, don't report on their property.
