    I forgot to mention that about half of the disabled vets are legal, which leaves the other half illegal, not displaying placards or emblems, so feel free to write ‘em up. They’ve had plenty of warning.

    Hello, I’m disabled vet and feel the same way. That’s why they changed the law as of Jan, 2022..All DV plates must show either the handicapped placard or have the blue handicapped wheelchair emblem on their plates I for one am glad they did it, as you stated, there’s too many disabled who aren’t mobility impaired. The fine for first offense is $500-$750, after that it is $500-1250 plus up to 50 hours community service. The amounts are close to what I quoted, plus or minus $50.
